WHOA: Stage Fright

by · August 20, 2010

So, my band and I played our first gig last night and we got the response we were looking for. Everyone found us just as entertaining as we find ourselves when we’re jamming and all had a good laugh. I really enjoyed it. I was incredibly nervous, so nervous that I was literally shaking (a lot), but I’m sure that will go away with time.

It was a big hurdle for all of us to overcome (maybe not Llisa because she’s pretty used to being up on stage, if we didn’t have her there for support we probably all would have thrown up from nervousness) and we managed to do it.

I, naturally, screwed up many times. Haha. But, that’s beside the point. I really do enjoy what we have together and it’s a lot of fun. I had to thank my friend Mikey after the show for shouting out “EPIC FAIL” when I managed to obliterate the first song in a matter of seconds. I am notorious for this. The fact that he did that made me feel better, strangely. It made me laugh, thus making the nervousness easier to bare.

With that said,

THANK YOU, GIRLS! FOR BEING AWESOME!

Thank you, Berzerker and Black Earth for inviting us to perform with you all. And a big thanks to Tubby Dog for hosting the show.

And, of course, a great big thank you to all of you who came out last night to enjoy and love The Cock.
